Ready to go :
Randoline has developed the ‘Ready to Go’ Kit for those in a hurry to set off hiking with their donkey : a Balaïtous hiking packsaddle, a self-locking pack mat, Carrélines saddlebags, a Polichon carry bag, leather suspension straps and, last but not least, a Longerine double-length laneyard
With a selection like this, you can order on Monday and put your shoes on at the end of the week.
With the certainty of having equipment that’s totally robust, with Randoline quality, and 100% made in France, made in ‘Chez nous’, in our little workshop on the hills in the heart of the pretty Quercy region.
A Balaïtous
The Balaïtous is the strongest and cheapest hiking packsaddle on the market. Designed and built by Randoline from the experience of its range of historic packsaddles, the Balaïtous is the ideal packsaddle to start your hiking career. Semi-descending hoops for stability, 8 movable pads for the animal’s comfort, a solid ash structure, and 2 metal reinforcements in 5 mm steel to make it indestructible.

A self-locking packmat
Underneath the Balaïtous we’re going to place a pack mat. But not just any carpet : the special Balaïtous Couveton. This clever mat has two sheaths at the front into which the first two pads are fitted. It is also attached to the pack-saddle at the back by a strong Velcro strip.
In this way, the packsaddle and the mat are inseparable, greatly increasing stability. And there’s a big added bonus : the mat will never slide backwards again.
Two panniers Carrélines
Carrélines panniers are designed to combat the hiker’s enemy : the rain. They have an outer shell of thick cotton canvas and an inner shell of waterproof fabric. Each bag holds 32 litres.
They are suspended from the Balaïtous by 4 leather suspension straps (included in the promotion).

A transport bag Polichon
The Polichon has been designed to hold everything that’s light but bulky when hiking : sleeping bags, clothes, etc…
It is, of course, double-skinned and completely waterproof.
It is fitted to the top of the packsaddle, as its contents will not affect the packsaddle’s centre of gravity.
A double hiking lanyard Longerine
The Longerine is a double-length lead rope attached to the halter by two snap hooks.
When the animal is halted, one snap hook is detached from the halter and attached to a fence, branch, post, etc. The animal then has a 4.50 m attachment, allowing it to graze peacefully.
The Longerine is lined with silky, soft-touch leather, which is very pleasant to hold during long days out.

The price
The ‘Ready to Go’ Kit, with all the above equipment, costs just 900/921/942/963 € (depending on the size of harness your animal needs), a saving of 89 €.
