• 1 bottle of 250 ml linseed oil-turpentine for wood maintenance
• 1 bottle of 250 ml neatsfoot oil for leather maintenance
• 1 brush for applying oils
• 1 awl to pierce the leather before sewing
• 1 set of 7 leather needles
• 1 spool of polished thread for sewing leather (wax-coated linen)
• some leather straps for repairs
• 1 emergency rubber pad for the pads of the packsaddle
